Marine Biome Activity
As a group, you will create a Marine Biome Book using the Book Creator app. Each group member will create
pic collages using the Pic Collage app for ONE of the marine biomes. Each group’s book should contain a pic
collage for all THREE marine biomes listed below:
Saltwater
Freshwater
Estuary
You must find the following for your biome and include it in the pic collage:
Location of biome around the world (Include a picture of a map showing the location of your biome)
Names of zones
Diagram of zones
Animals living in biome (5 animals) pictures with labels
Plants living in biome (3 plants) pictures with labels
Freshwater only…list the different types of freshwater biomes
The book will be assembled on ONE iPad. All pic collages will be emailed to that group member’s iPad. Then,
EACH group member will take turns inserting their pic collage into the book. Your book must have a front
cover with an appropriate title, group members’ names, and a picture, as well as a table of contents.
