UC Clermont Student Ambassadors are dedicated to promoting student leadership and service within the
Clermont County community. Ambassadors engage actively in college events and programs, representing the
college to prospective and current students, the campus community and alumni. Collegiate pride, community
service and leadership qualities are the hallmarks of the UC Clermont Student Ambassador membership.

The deadline is Friday, June 17th. Should you be elected as a Student Ambassador Candidate, interviews will occur
during the week of June 27th. Ambassadors will be chosen by June 30, 2016 for the 2016-2017 school year.

1. Have you successfully completed 15+ credit hours at UC Clermont with a 3.0+ GPA?
2. Will you be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours/semester) during the 2016-2017 academic year?

and their families, members of the campus community, and the surrounding Clermont County
community?
If you answered “YES!” to all three questions, you could earn a $1,500 Scholarship for the 20162017 academic year through UC Clermont’s Student Ambassador program!
Why Become an Ambassador?
Being a Student Ambassador is an engaging experience that allows you to interact with current and prospective
students, their families, and the community by representing the college at various events and activities. Other
reasons to become a student ambassador include the following:
 Ambassadors receive an annual $1,500 UCCC scholarship for tuition and fees
 Ambassadors engage in resume building activities that will provide evidence of leadership qualities, selfmotivation, and commitment to a wide variety of projects
 Ambassadors build confidence in speaking and presentation skills
 Ambassadors have the opportunity to learn from and work with college faculty, staff, and administrators
Ambassador Responsibilities:
 Serve as the "face" of the student body and actively engage in ongoing college events, recruitment
activities, and special programs
 Represent UC Clermont College to prospective and current students, as well as faculty, staff, and
community members engaged in collegiate activities
 Guide campus tours for prospective UC Clermont College students and their families
 Provide assistance to faculty or staff during campus-wide UCCC events such Dish with the Dean, Fall
Festival, Spring Showcase, Veterans Recognition Day Event, and other events as assigned
(15-20 hours per semester)
How to Become an Ambassador:
 Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
 Must have successfully completed 15+ hours of coursework at UC Clermont College
 Complete and return the attached application by Friday, June 10, 2016 deadline and successfully interview in
order to be chosen
Behavior Resulting in Revocation of Appointment includes:
 Failing to maintain a 3.0 GPA
 Not adhering to UC’s Student Code of Conduct
