Use areas Drinking water Reclaimed and recycled water Waste water Recirculating cooling water systems Air conditioning waters Food and beverages process water (primary disinfection) Industrial air washers Oil field waters Water storage tanks 6. Recommendations to formulate Mixing with any other chemical has to absolutely avoid. 7. Analytical procedure Determination of the chlorine content through standard titration using potassium iodine and sodium yhiosulfate. 8. Packaging/Storage Product is supplied in 45 kg plastic pails. HTHTM Briquettes can be stored up to 2 years after its manufacturing date under normal temperature and humidity conditions. However, there is a potential for slow release of gases, primarily chlorine gas in very limited quantities due to the degradation of the material over the time. The product must be kept protected from light. Drums must be stored upright in a well ventilated area with containment facilities. Drums must be handled carefully when lifted and moved. 10.
