Movement
The body moves in many different
ways and is capable of doing many
different things. These movement

• Movement concepts
• Fundamental motor skills
• Specialized motor skills

Movement
Movement Concepts
Movement concepts:
Understanding how and
where the body is moving
and what it can do
These skills begin as a
young child learns to walk,
run, and play.

than walking
