Course description
The seminar intends to develop the speaking skills as well as the listening and reading skills of
students by assigning weekly tasks of reading and listening as homework. The reading and
listening materials will include selected short stories by Roald Dahl (the original literary text as
well as their film adaptations). The home assignments will serve as the basis for the in-class
discussions. Special attention will be paid to vocabulary expansion.
