Basketbowl Challenge
The LA Clippers Foundation Charity BasketBowl Challenge is an exclusive event that brings Clippers Players, Alumni and Celebrities
together with corporate partners, season ticket holders and fans for an interactive afternoon of bowling, with proceeds benefitting the LA
Clippers Foundation and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Suit up in your very own custom Clippers bowling shirt and join Clippers Players,
Alumni and Celebrity Guests for a fun-filled afternoon of bowling, giveaways, specialty food and drinks. The event also includes the
American Airlines Head Pin Challenge and Clippers Strike Out with participants competing for prizes throughout the day.
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is a nonprofit pediatric academic medical center dedicated to creating hope and building healthier futures for children.
CHLA treats young patients more than half a million times each year — and it cares for children with more complex health conditions than any other
hospital in Southern California. As a pediatric charity of choice, Children’s Hospital relies on the generosity of the community to support its
groundbreaking pediatric research and the complex care it provides for critically ill and injured children.

The Jr. Clippers program promotes healthy, active lifestyles for children of the Greater LA region. Through the
program, children ages 5-14 receive a variety of incentives throughout the year including a Jr. Clippers uniform,
game tickets, books and school supplies, giveaway items and exclusive basketball clinic opportunities.
Provide 25 classrooms with library books at a local elementary or middle school to increase access to books

and technology to all students in the greater Los Angeles area
Send 50 kids to a Clippers home game during the 2016-17 season
Send 25 young men from the Clippers Mentorship Assist Zone on a cultural outing 4
The Mentorship Assist Zone program supports local community based mentorship initiatives with mentorship
recruitment, student incentives, speakers, cultural experiences and group outings. While the program supports
all youth mentorship it has a special emphasis on middle schools, high schools and organizations serving youth
in underserved communities and young men of color.
