STELLA FELLA 2015 NO TO EXPLOITATION OF WOMEN, CHILDREN AND MEN AND NO TO MODERN DAY SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING. What is Stella Fella? Stella Fella is about educating men and boys about making better choices and encouraging and recognising positive male role models in our community. Violence and exploitation against women is a growing concern in local communities and abroad. Human trafficking is now the third largest criminal activity behind arms and drugs. Stella Fellas are the men in our community who choose to stand up and say “No”. Stella Fella 2015 is set to be our biggest year ...with the launch of our Stella Fella Cycle Challenge in Cambodia (29th October – 9th November). This year we have celebrity ambassadors, Andrew Morley (Home & Away), Nick Kenny (Former Brisbane Bronco) and Scott Tweedie (The Loop), joining our cycle challenge through Cambodia with a team of up to 20 men, raising funds, visiting our beneficiary partner in Cambodia and learning about modern day slavery and human trafficking. Stella Fella cycle challengers will be meeting with the Australian Federal Police, doing outreach in at-risk areas and meeting women and girls who are currently supported by PROJECT FUTURES. The 2015 Stella Fella campaign will follow the journey of these men. “No” to the exploitation of women and children and “No” to modern day slavery and human trafficking. Stella Fellas are men who choose to live with integrity and dignity, and is someone who treats everyone with respect. Who is PROJECT FUTURES?
