Would you like to live in the Stone Age?
Project homework, autumn 2
1. Create a model of either Stonehenge or a Stone Age round house.
2. Find out about stone circles in Britain and present your findings in an interesting way.
3. Visit Sonehenge or Danbury Hill Fort and describe your visit.
4. What can you find out about the Happisburgh site and people?
5. Create a cave painting / drawing that tells a story.
6. Describe what you think life would be like living in a cave during the glacial periods.
7. Research how people travelled during the Stone Age and Iron Age.
8. Create a fact file about an animal that was alive during the Stone Age but is no longer
around today.
9. A farmer owns 10 chickens. They each lay 1 egg each day. How many eggs will they lay
altogether every day in 1 week? 1 month? In a whole year?
