The quiet, passive practice of Yin Yoga promotes introspection, physical opening and increases the flow of energy by releasing the body's connective tissue. As we hold a series of poses for longer periods of time, the soothing sounds of the Tibetan Singing Bowls allow us to easily find stillness and drop into a meditative state. These unique sounds not only allow us to surrender to the moment, but also have the ability to break up stagnant energy, create beautiful fluidity in our bodies', and leave us feeling more relaxed, soft, and open. Yoga remained a deeply personal practice for Holly throughout university where she found self-love, self-care and heightened self-awareness through the practice of many diverse yoga disciplines. In 2013 with a degree in Environmental Studies, Holly found her way to the beautiful Fraser Valley. Her dream to one day teach yoga was there from the very beginning, but it wouldn't be until June of 2015 that she would travel to Mysore, India to receive a 200 hour teacher training certificate in the Primary series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Holly's classes are dynamic, and invigorating. Created with correct alignment, flow and sequencing techniques at the forefront of every lesson. Designed to open the mind, body, and heart; inviting all those who attend to become ever more connected and present through movement and breath.
