alentine’s Day is on February 14. It is a day to
celebrate love in many countries around the world.
2. On Valentine’s Day, many people give valentine cards to their friends,
family, girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, or wives. Some people
also give each other chocolate, candy, roses, jewelry, or other
flowers or gifts. Some people like to go to nice restaurants for dinner.
3. Many children make valentine cards for their classmates. They draw
hearts, flowers, or cupids on the cards. They put the cards in a large
mailbox. On Valentine’s Day, the teacher opens the mailbox and gives
the cards to the students.
4. On February 14, many people say “Happy Valentine’s Day!”
