Dear Parent,
This booklet contains Maths objectives matched to the National
Curriculum expectations for your child’s year group. We have selected
the objectives which are the best suited for you to support them with at
home.
During each academic year, please support your child to regularly
practise the skills needed to progress towards each objective.
Once they have spent at least 30 minutes working towards an objective
and are confident, we ask that parents initial or sign next to that
objective in this booklet.

Once they have signatures next to all the objectives, please return the
booklet to school and your child’s teacher will ensure your child is
presented with a certificate to praise their achievement.
Please note that children will not proceed onto the next booklet until the
following academic year as we will expect them to spend time
embedding the skills they have practised.
We hope you have lots of fun!
Thank you for your continued support.
