THE KIDS’ TAPESTRY COMPETITION
We asked children across the country for their top historic moments since the Battle of Hastings
in 1066. Inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry and working with children’s illustrator Liz Pichon,
we’ve brought those moments to life in The Kids’ Tapestry.
But The Kids’ Tapestry isn’t finished yet – it’s missing one final panel. We’re now on the hunt for
a budding artist and history fan to complete our tapestry this summer. We’re calling on children
to get creative and send us their drawing of Tim Berners-Lee inventing the World Wide Web
– so let your imagination run wild!
