Sheriff’s Deputies went to the Topeka Correctional Facility to pick up a
prisoner, Jamie Lynn Squire, F, W, 45, Wichita on two Cowley County
District Court warrants, 11CR566W and 11CR565W, both for failure to
Appear. She was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail
on those warrants. She remains in custody as of the time of this release.

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 3000 Block of 202nd Road for a
report of an injured deer in the roadway.

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 30000 Block Washington Street
for a burglary and theft report. Upon arrival there it was determined
there had been no theft. No Report

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 7000 Block of 252nd Road. Upon
arrival it was learned that a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier
the night before to the Winfield Police Department was found in the
vehicle owner’s back yard. The vehicle was undamaged and the Winfield
Police Department notified.

report of a juvenile female walking in the roadway. Contact made with
the father.

questions about an accident that was on his driving record. They were
referred to the State of Kansas.

for a report of a lost or stolen Kansas license plate.

Highway. The vehicle was legally parked with no one in or around the
vehicle.

report of a lost or stolen Kansas license plate.

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area of 32000 Block of U.S. 77
Highway for a report of a reckless driver in a brown colored Trailblazer.
No Deputies were in the area and the information was passed on to Kay
County authorities.

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to call a subject in the 7000 Block of
252nd Road for a report of someone contacting their 11 year old son.
Attempts to contact the reporting were made but the call went straight to
voice mail. Message left.

Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 31000 Block of 61st Road for an
animal welfare check. Contact made and the owner of the dog stated the
dog comes inside at night. The dog had food and a heated dog bowl with
water.

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Michael Lane Maddox II, M, W, 32, Winfield, in
the 1200 Block of Fuller Street on a Cowley County District Court warrant,
16TR1364W for failure to appear. He was transported to and booked into
the Cowley County Jail on that warrant. He has since posted bond and
been released

protection from abuse order.

case of criminal damage to property in the 200 Block of South Summit

for a report of two dogs on the side of the road and the caller thought one
might be injured. The dogs were not located in the area.

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ivory Higgins III, M, B, 33, Winfield in the 1700
Block of Ames Street on a Cowley County District Court warrant,
14TR1949W for probation violation. He was transported to and booked
into the Cowley County Jail on that warrant. He remains in custody as of
the time of this release.
