GUIDELINES FOR HOLIDAY ASSIGNMENT 2017-18
CLASS-II
1.
Holiday assignment should be submitted on the 1st day of the school after
vacation.
2.
Use A4sheets to write your answers, if required. Decorate the borders of the
sheets beautifully in your own way.
3.
Compile sheets and put them in an attractive handmade folder.
4.
Don’t forget to label your holiday homework.

ENGLISH HOLIDAY HOMEWORK
1) UNSCRAMBLE THE WORD
Make as many words as you can from AEROPLANE.

2) ANTONYMS
Seen the word before? Heard it anywhere? Use your vacations for find the
meaning of ‘antonym’. Describe in one word!
Make flash cards (15*15 cm) and write the words given below on one side
and their antonyms on the other side.

 Sad

3) LET’S DISCUSS
What do you think is happening in this picture? What all can you see? Any
particular incident that you would like to share? Write 10-12 lines describing the
picture above .
4) PROJECT TIME
(Do the project allocated for your roll number)
 Roll no 1 to 8- make attractive flash cards {15*15cm} of any 10
adjectives and colour them bright.
 Roll no 9 to 17- design a colourful wall hanging displaying nouns.
 Roll no 18 to 25- pictorically represent singular and plural of any five
things and five animals on your beautifully handcrafted flash cards
{15*15cm}.
 Roll no 26 to 32- make a chart using your calligraphy and pictures to
represent verbs (or action words).
 Roll no 33 to 38- make attractive flash cards {15*15cm} of any 10
adverbs and use your magic with crayons to bring them to life.

5. Maths Craft Activity
Roll nos. 1-5 : Draw your favourite cartoon and write the height and length of its
features. Do it on a colourful A4 sheet. A sample of the same is given below.
Roll nos. 6-10 : Make 3D models of cube, cuboids and cylindrical shape. Samples
are given below.
Roll nos. 11-15 : Months of the Year – Make a clock model or a flow chart with
names of the months. Find attached the sample:
