Working principle:
Injection Unit 1 and 2 work in parallel. Part A (semi finished
article) injection is finished, then the mold open , and the table
rotates+180°. After the mold is closed again, Both part A and part B
injection will be finished at the same time, then the mold opens, Part
A+B(finished part) is ejected ,and the table rotates -180°, The process
always repeats again as above.

Sandwich/interval machine
The IA/i (sandwich/interval machine) can be used as a standard two component injection or single color/
component machine. The nozzle with a melt-flow control valve has multi-function control for different
injection control requirements.

Co-injection machine
The IA/m co-injection machines has the 2nd injection unit mounted at non-operation side of clamping unit,
without turntable and rotating shaft.

» L1 represents the minimum distance that the
nozzle tip of side injection unit can reach.
» L2 represents the distance from nozzle center
of side injection to installing flat of fixed
platen, i.e. the distance from mould filling gate
center on side of mold to installing flat of fixed
platen.
» L3 represents the overall stroke,which needs
adjustment according to different side injection
unit. different machine types.

Remark:An assistant locating hole/key slot
on the fixed platen is necessary for mold
positioning, avoiding the mold movement

Rotating-shaft multi-color machine
The IA/p ( rotating shaft multi-color machine) has been developed for applications requiring multi cavity two
color/component molding.
The cavities are rotated using the centre core mechanism for increased effeciency and flexible mold design.

Features of the energy-saving Haitian Iapetus Series Injection molding machines
The system is self optimizing and controlled the actual process requirement. The key advantage of the system is the high
energy saving . Each individual movement of the machine is acurately controlled by precise pressure and flow for the
movement. During periods of no movement, the system pressure/flow is turned off, to save energy, which compared to
traditional hydraulic systems can realize savings of 20 ¬ 80% dependant on the process requirements.
