Egyptian gods are a mix of humans and animals. Where are these gods? In the minds of Egyptians, and in hieroglyphs on papyrus and monuments. When did these gods exist? Thousands of years ago. Who are the gods of Ancient Egypt? Ra, Anubis, Amun, Bastet, Horus, Tefnut, Khnum, Khonsu, Meretseger, Osiris, Isis, Ptah, Thoth, Mut, Khepri, Seshat, Set... Why do gods have superpowers? Maat was the Egyptian goddess of truth, balance, order, harmony, law, morality and justice. What did Egyptians do to honour this goddess? They built temples between 1569 and 1081 BC. Where did they build these temples? They were built in the Karnak complex, at Memphis and at Deir elMedina. When were the first mentions of Maat made in history? The first mentions were made between 2680 and 2190 BC. Why did I choose this subject? Because Mat is my nickname! They speak Arab. Where is the language of hieroglyphs from? It was used in Egypt. When did it start? It started in the 9th century. Why did Egyptians use this language? It was used for writing and for reading. Who discovered first the hieroglyphs? The building of Cheops' pyramids took twenty years. They were built in 2580-2560 BC. Why were the pyramids built? The pyramids were built as tombs. In the south of Egypt, at Abu Simbel. When was the temple built? It was built between 1264 and 1224 BC. Why was the temple built? Because Ramesses II wanted to be buried in the temple. Why did she become a pharaoh? She got the throne when her dad died. When was she born? She was born in 69 BC. Where did she live? She lived in Egypt. What did she put in her bathtub? Where are the mummies? In pyramids, in tombs and in museums. When are they buried? When they die. Why are these persons wrapped in linen? So they won’t decompose. Who are the people in the mummies?
