Online Databases & eBooks RESEARCH Tips: Online database articles are a sure thing as far as reliable/credible information goes. Database articles have been published and read by experts in the field too. You just have to make sure that the articles are relevant to your topic(s) and will help you complete the assignment requirements. Some databases will be better than others for your topics. Just keep trying them all until you find one that has what you need! Remember to use the correct MLA 7th edition citation format to document your sources. For online sources: If the site generates information itself---cite it like a WEBSITE. If the source is a collection of sources housed in one place---cite it like at DATABASE.
