I, (print name) ____________________________________, am applying to participate in the Three
Bear Sled Dog Races in Land O Lakes, Wisconsin organized by the Three Bear Race Committee and
sanctioned by the International Sled Dog Racing Association (ISDRA) and accredited by the
International Federation of Sled Dog Sports (IFSS). I acknowledge that a sled dog race is a test of a
person’s physical and mental capabilities and carries with it the potential of property loss, serious injury
or even death to both the driver and their dogs. The risks include, but are not limited to: actions of other
people including, but not limited to, participants, handlers, volunteers, spectators, event officials, event
monitors and/or producers of the event; property owners, weather, physical conditions of the trail and/or
other natural conditions, interaction of drivers and their dogs teams, manmade situations of any kind
whatsoever pertaining to or during the race, including my travel to and from this event. I hereby assume
all of the risks of participating in the Three Bear Sled Dog Races.
Further, I understand the Three Bear Committee, ISDRA and IFSS are organizations that support sled
dog racing and their actions directly benefit me. In consideration of my application and permitting me to
participate in this event, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin,
successors, and assigns as follows: (A) Waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability for my
death, disability personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which may
hereafter occur to me even through their negligence or carelessness the following entities or persons:
Three Bear Race Committee, Conserve School, ISDRA and IFSS, involved municipalities or other
public entities, businesses and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives and
agents, the event sponsors and event volunteers, property owners (B) indemnify and hold harmless all
entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made by other
individuals or entities as a result of my actions during this event.
I understand that at this event or related activities I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo,
video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors,
organizers, and/or assigns.
Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above event shall be resolved under
Wisconsin law.

Drivers meeting: Saturday, February 4th, 9:00am at the race site/Town Hall.
Races start: 10:00am Saturday and 9:00am Sunday
All classes except for the Skijor/Kick Sled Sport class are ISDRA sanctioned including registered
breed in the 4 and 6-dog classes. Drivers must be ISDRA members to earn points.
All adult sled classes are IFSS accredited including registered Nordic breed. Drivers must have a
current IFSS DID to earn points.
Drivers entered in the registered breed classes must be prepared to present registration papers to
race officials.
