VICE SATRAP REPORT
Dearest Brothers,
Welcome to the beautiful city of Phoenix, AZ! The Brothers of Delta Sigma have been working
tirelessly to ensure that this weekend is memorable for all in attendance. We hope that everyone has
a fun and safe weekend while remembering what Province is all about. Province is a time to not only
conduct business and reconnect with family, but also to meet new Brothers.
This Fall Conclave, the Pacific West Province has the pleasure of hosting Brothers from all over the
country. We have Brothers from Delta Upsilon (David Dakwa, Jose Demeetre Thompson, Larnie
Sylvain, Sarah Watchek), Illinois Graduate (Elaine Moy), Seattle Graduate (Janice Louie, Johnny
Wong), Sigma (Emily Chen), and Southeast Florida/Bahamas Graduate (Halena Leah Marcelin).
Please help me in making these Brothers feel welcome to the Pacific West Province. I would also like
to welcome Grand Regent Dr. Latha Radhakrishnan, Grand Vice Regent Dr. Robert Mancini, and
Immediate Past Grand Regent Dr. Eric Gupta.
As the Province Assembly Planning Committee Chair, my goal is to utilize the working lunch this
weekend to help expand the responsibilities of the committee. The current responsibilities of the
committee are mainly to facilitate discussion about current/past provinces and what improvements
Brothers would like to see at future Provinces. I would like for the committee to be utilized more in
helping future hosting Chapters plan Province. Therefore, if there are any Brothers who are
interested in being a part of the Province Assembly Planning Committee, please come out to the
working lunch this weekend; for those Brothers who cannot attend Province and would like to join
the committee, please email me.
I want to thank the Brothers of Delta Sigma for coordinating and planning this wonderful Province
meeting. The leadership and efforts of the Province Planning Chair Stephanie Carlson, Immediate
Past Regent Caitlyn Girvin, and the rest of the Chapter have made this weekend possible. Working
with such determined and industrious individuals has been very inspiring and the pleasure has been
all mine.
I would like to end with saying it is an honor to be given the opportunity to serve as your Pacific West
Province Vice Satrap. I would like to thank past Vice Satrap Kate Miyamoto for her guidance and
making the transition an easy one. Working with the current Executive Board has been a wonderful
experience. Everyone has been very easy to collaborate with, and I believe our combined efforts as a
team will help to ensure the growth of our Province. I look forward to using all that I have learned so
far to help make planning future Provinces more successful.
