Cabinet meeting.
Next is a 2017 Florida Law Enforcement

Officers Hall of Fame nominees.

Enforcement Officer's Hall of Fame was created in

2014, through Section 265.0041 Florida Statutes, to
16
recognize and honor our law enforcement officers
17
who put their lives on the line for the safety and
18
protection of Florida citizens and visitors through
19
their work, service and exemplary honor.

The Florida Law
The first five members were inducted in 2016
21
and plaques are displayed upstairs on the plaza
22
level for honorees.

30-year law enforcement at FDLE, serving as

Commissioner of the Department for 15 of those

years.

Following Cabinet approval of the nominees, a

reception and induction ceremony is scheduled for

Saturday, May 20th.
