What’s All This Then?
This leaflet is a summary of the main action points
in our School Development Plan. All schools should
have a School Development Plan in place, running
on a three year cycle.
This shortened form is to give parents/carers and
children an overview of what we are working
towards as a school in learning and teaching and
also from a whole school community point of view.

How Do We Decide What Goes in the Plan?
We form our priorities on what we observe as
teachers, and on what we hear from pupils and
parents/carers on a day-to-day basis and
through more formal feedback such as the
Parent/Carer Questionnaires issued in June
2014 and June 2015. For academic targets we
take information from school assessments in
Literacy, Numeracy and other sources that can
help us identify our strengths, weaknesses and
areas for improvement.

Primary 4 and Primary 7.
 We set short term targets in Literacy and
