SUMMER SWAC: PRIMARY FOCUS
Must be between the ages of 17-20
Priority will be given to students who will graduate from the Summer SWAC Program
Completed OSSLT or OSSLC
Potential to succeed in college - apprenticeship and/or college pathway
Completed 40 hours of community service

Summer School Within A College ~ July 2ND – August 3RD , 2015
A Student Success initiative partnered by the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), George Brown College (GBC) and Centennial
College to offer secondary students the opportunity to earn secondary school credits and a dual credit with the continued goal for
our students to complete their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
The primary focus continues to be on students facing challenges in graduating and who have the potential to succeed in college.
Courses are delivered by Secondary School Teachers and College Instructors at George Brown College, St. James Campus or at the
Centennial College, Progress Campus.

HOW TO REGISTER STUDENTS INTO SUMMER SWAC
1. Student Success and Cooperative Education teachers, Guidance Counsellors and Administrators have
access to the online registration system (Dual Credit Application).
2. Commence your registration by logging into the DCA system with your TDSB User ID and Password:
3. When adding a course, you must change the school year to: 20142015 and semester to: 2
4. Choose one of the active models in the DCA system based upon the timetables below.
5. Submissions will be accepted until May 15th at noon. Approvals will begin at 1pm on May 15th.
