Tamamura Honten has been
producing sake and local beer for
over 200 years. Sampling of the
sake is available in the shop, and
on the second floor visitors can see
inside the brewery and browse local
art in the gallery.
Special “tenugui” (towels) are sold
at each hotel. Visit each bath, stamp
the tenugui and soak away your
fatigue. The final stamp is found
at Takayakushi temple. Pray here
and your tenugui will become a
good luck charm. The baths are
open from 06:00 – 22:00. Tour
only available for overnight guests
staying in Shibu Onsen.
