Rules for the Pies

Two crust pie in a 9 inch disposable aluminum pie plate.
Pie must be made with fresh Maine Apples.
Pie crust must be made from scratch. No commercial pie crusts.
Recipe for both the pie crust and filling must accompany pie.
Pie must be cool when submitted
Judging:
1) Texture and flakiness of crust.
2) Flavor of pie. Both crust and filling.
3) Over all appearance of pie.
