Comparing whole numbers:
Step 1: Line up the ones digit of the numbers.
Step 2: Compare the digits in the same place from
left to right. If the digits are the same, compare the
digits in the next place.
Step 3: The number that has a higher digit in that
place value is the larger number. Use < > and = to
compare.
