Oliver Stacy Quinn (b. 1/26/1813 Spartanburg County, SC d. 3/14/1877 Bibb County,
Alabama) is the son of John Quinn (b. 4/1785 York County, SC d. 1/6/1877 Oktibbeha County,
MS) and Nancy Stacy (b. 1/25/1785 Spartanburg County, SC d. 10/15/1860 Oktibbeha County,
MS) Oliver married 1st Martha Lee (b. 1/24/1818 Bibb County, AL d. 5/21/1867 Bibb County,
AL) who was the daughter of William Lee (b. 1793 TN d. 2/1854 Tishomingo County, MS) and
Nancy Jackson (b. 1796 in TN d. 1855-1856 in Tishomingo County, MS) Oliver Stacy Quinn and
Martha Lee were married on January 21, 1833 in Bibb County, Alabama. Oliver Stacy Quinn
married 2nd Elizabeth (b. 1840 Kentucky d. I am still working on verification of her death)

appraisement. Returned the 5th day May 1877. Order on inventory entered in Minute book L

The state of Alabama, Bibb County} List of property belonging to the estate of O. S. Quinn
deceased appraised on 28th day of April 1877 and set apart for the use of Mrs. Elizabeth
Quinn widow of O. S. Quinn, Davis Quinn, (this is Jefferson Davis Quinn who married Julia Ann
McClain on October 2, 1882 in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi) Ida Quinn (married Issac S.
Holcomb on December 12, 1886 in Ellis County, Texas) and Adar Quinn minor heirs of OS
Quinn set apart by George Stewart administrator and appraised by J. A. Wood, Silas Brewer
and M. M. Perry a portion of the thousand dollars with allowed by law of Alabama.

The State of Alabama, Bibb County} I A. D. Smith NP nad JP hereby certify that J.A. Wood
Sialas Brewer and M. W. Perry the appraisers of the within property of the estate of O. S.
Quinn decd, personally appeared before me on this day and being sworn stated under oath
that within appraisement is a correct and true list of the property as pointed out to them by
the administrator of the said estate. Sworn to and subscribed before me on this the 28th day

Thomas J. Smitherman Judge of Probate. Decree granting letters of administration Entered in
Minute book L Page 369. Recorded in Book K admins account page 388. The State of Alabama,
Bibb County. Know all men by these presents that we George Stewart. E. W. Quinn, N. C.
Lagwe, AJ Stewart and GW Marshall are held and firmly bound unto Thomas J. Smitherman
Judge of Probate for said County in the sum of two thousand dollars for the payment whereof
well and truly to be made, we and each of us hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors,
administrators, &c, jointly, severally and firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and
dated this 28th day of ___ AD 187_. The condition of the above obligation is Such that
whereas the above bound (Jas. W. Crawford crossed out) George Stewart has this day been,
by the Probate court of said county, appointed administrator of the estate of O.S.
Quinn. Now if said (Jas. W. Crawford crossed out) George Stewart shall perform all the duties
which are, or may be required of him by law as such administrator then this obligation to be
void, else to remain in full force and effect. Approved 21st day of April 1877. Thomas J.

Item 6 ~ To the honorable Thos J Smitherman Judge of Probate in and for the county and
state aforesaid the undersigned George Stewart as the administrator of the estate of OS
Quinn deceased respectfully reports unto your honor that said estate is to the best of my
knowledge insolent there is no real or personal property belonging to said estate within the
knowledge of this administrator except that the widow and minor children are claiming under
the exemption law of Probate. The following is a list of the claims presented to us as
administrators of said estate.

testlion of Guardianship. Entered in Minute book L. Pages 450 and 451. The State of Alabama,
Bibb County} Know all men by these presents, that we C. W. Quinn, Thos. W. Pierson, P. M.
Vance, are held and firmly bound unto (Jackson Gardner crossed out) Thomas Smitherman,
Judge of Probate for said county, in the sum of two hundred dollars, for the payment whereof
well and truly to be made, we and each of us hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors,
administrators, & c., jointly, severally and firmly by these presents. Sealed with out seals
and dated this ______ day of ______ AD 187_. (dates not filled in the blanks) The Condition
of the above obligation is Such, that whereas the above bound C. W. Quinn has this day been,
by the Probate Court of said County, appointed, guardian of Jefferson Davis Quinn. Now if
the said C. W. Quinn shall perform all the duties which are, or may be required of him by law
such Guardian then this obligation to be void, else to remain in full force and

Item 2 ~ Jefferson D. Quinn Estate of. Letter of Guardianship. January 21st 1878. The state
of Alabama, Bibb County } Probate court letters of Guardianship on the person and estate of
Jefferson D. Quinn are herby granted to C. W. Quinn who has duly qualified and given bond as
such and is authorized to take charge of clu assets of said estate. Dated this 21st January,

Elizabeth Quinn and others. Original Notice. Executed by serving H.? Cossiur on C. W. Quinn
and George Stewart December 3rd, 1879 CC Collin, Sheriff. Civil Subpoena. The State of
Alabama, Bibb County} Probate Court. To any sheriff of the State of Alabama, Greeting: You
are hereby commanded to summon C. W. Quinn and George Stewart personally to be and
appear before the Probate Court of the said County, at the Court House thereof, on the 15th
day of December AD 1879, and from day to day of said Term, and from Term to Term
thereafter, until discharged by due course of law, and to give evidence, and the truth to
speak in behalf of the Plantiff in a cause now pending in said court, wherein C. W. Quinn as
the guardian of Jeff D. Quinn is Plantiff and Elizabeth Quinn and others are defendants, and
have you then and there this Writ, with your endorsement thereon. Witness this 1st day of

Item 4 ~ C. W. Quinn Guardian of J. D. Quinn vs. Elizabeth Quinn and others. Origional
Notice. Execution by Land in a copy to each December 1879. CC Collins, Sherriff. The State
of Alabama, Bibb County} Probate Court. Form No. 151- Notice of Settlement. 14th day of
November AD 1879 C. W. Quinn as the guardian of Jefferson D. Quinn vs. Elizabeth Quinn, Ida
Quinn, and Ador Quinn. This day came C. W. Quinn as guardian as aforesaid and filed his
petition for partition of certain personal propertyt therein described. It is ordered that the
15th day of December AD 1879 be appointed a day on which to hear said petition at which
time all persona interested can appear and contact the same if they think proper. Signed

Second, that the said Jefferson D. Quinn owns an undivided one fourth interest in said
property and that there are four shares unto which the same to be divided and that the said
Elizabeth, Ida and Ador Quinn each in her own individual right, owns and individual one fourth
interest in said property. The petitioners considered the undersigned as guardian as aforesaid
respectfully prays your honro summon the said Elizabeth Quinn, Ida and Adar Quinn to appear
before your honor on a day certain to be secured from the leaving of this petitioner and that
when the same is heald that your honor will grant to petitioner a division of said property
between the joint owners above named and that ___ others obligations orders and decrees
