Issue 14 Term 5 May 2013 Head Teacher Writes: This is amongst the busiest times of the year in school, especially in Y6 with SAT tests followed fairly closely by our two residential visits. The sudden and surprising sunny Spring weather has allowed our playground activity apparatus to be fully exploited and it has been good to see classes and groups working outside when possible. I hope that when we return for term 6 the weather will enable us to enjoy our sports afternoon on the 13th June as I know the children are excited about it. As we approach the end of term and topics, I have been pleased to have heard such positive comments from parents and carers about the learning the children have been involved in. I would like to remind all of you that there are lots of things to see and explore on the school website which is regularly updated. There are lots of video clips and photos for you to explore and with more than 24000 hits since the re-launch it’s heartening that people are using it for celebration and information.
