Kingdom of Bahrain Ministry of Health Office of Licensure and Registration Order No (29) for 1989 On Health Services Fees Minister of Health: After full considerations of Article (88) of legislative decree no (26) for 1975 on the regulation of Pharmacology Profession and Pharmaceutical centers, Article (11) of legislative decree No (7) for 1989 on the regulation of Human Medicine and Dentistry, Article (17) of legislative decree No (2) for 1987 on the practice of non-doctors and pharmacists as paramedics and Article (12) of legislative decree No (23) for 1986 on Private Hospitals, And upon the submission of Health Undersecretary, Hereby Ordered the Following: Article (1) Charges for services provided by various health facilities at the Ministry of Health shall be determined according to table No (1) attached to this order. Article (2) Fees for services provided by the Ministry of Health shall be according to table (2) attached to this order. Article (3) Health Undersecretary shall implement this order, which shall be effective from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. These fees shall include morning and evening examination at health centers and outpatients clinics at the Ministry of Health including emergency unit. The current fees, 200 fils, shall continue for evening visits at health centers for Bahrainis, nonBahrainis government employees and participants in the primary health care system as currently implemented. (D) Surgical Operations Fees: Fees for surgical operations for non-Bahrainis regardless of their classification except for government employees shall be as follows: 1- Minor surgeries 2- Medium Surgeries 3- Relatively major surgeries 4- Major and highly critical surgeries 50/- B.D. 75/- B.D. 100/-B.D. 150/- B.D. (E) Fees for Delivery operations: Fees for surgical operations for non-Bahrainis regardless of their classification shall be as follows: 1- Normal Delivery 100/- B.D. 2- Delivery with minor surgery 125/- B.D. 3- Cesarean Operation 150/- B.D. 4- Tubal legation according to the request of the patient (without medical advice) 150/- B.D.
