ROBBIE BURNS MEET & GREET
We will be celebrating our 5th annual Robbie Burns Meet & Greet
tomorrow night. This event is being hosted by Eric, Denise, and
Laura Carre, and Bev Campbell. The Sports Lounge will be
transformed into a mini Scotland, complete with music, Scottish
books and keepsakes, and a variety of Scottish food. You will be
treated to haggis, neeps, authentic crisps, Scotch & deviled eggs, as
well as sweets and savory.
Michael Armistead has graciously donated an incredible gift basket
which we will raffle off, and no Robbie Burns night would be complete
without a Scotch toast!
Join us tomorrow from 5:30-7:30. This is a Meet & Greet not to be
missed. Here's tae ye!
LORA BAY NAME TAGS ARE HERE!
Any residents who ordered a name tag can come to the lodge to pick
them up. The price is $20 each and can be paid for with cash or
cheque. They can also be picked up at Meet & Greet tomorrow night
from Natalie Ladly. Please call 519.599.5900 if you have any

NEW RESTAURANT: MISO HOT
If the idea of Japenese and Korean fusion doesn't draw you in, the
name certainly will! Miso Hot is Thornbury's newest restaurant,
located on Arthur Street across from the post office. It has been
brimming with customers since it opened two weeks ago and is
creating a lot of buzz around town. Their goal is to provide great
value and to bring a fresh and delicious twist on a number of
Japanese and Korean dishes. They have kept the menu small to
ensure freshness and quality and they are succeeding.

24th. Hosting a Meet & Greet is a great way to meet new residents
and either meet or reconnect with current residents. All that is
required are some light snacks and your company! If you are

A Lending Closet is where
fellow residents can share
items whether it be a punch
bowl, cot, children's playpen, or
a bike. Some of you may not
have storage space for those
"once in a while" needed
items. Click here to see what is
currently in the Lending
Closet. If you have items you
are willing to share such as
snowshoes, high chairs, air
mattresses, etc., please email

Are you looking for something to do this Winter? Grab your mittens
and celebrate winter! Visit Heritage Park and Downtown Barrie to
enjoy outdoor and Indoor fun including spectacular ice and snow
sculptures, dog sled rides, lumberjack shows, ice maze, polar bear
dip and much more! This event will take place from Saturday,
