Gender-Neutral Bathroom List
Because there are very few gender-neutral bathrooms at the University of Otago, the
University’s Disability Information and Support centre are happy for trans, gender nonconfirming and gender diverse individuals to use the single stall accessible bathrooms, many
of which have also been labelled as gender-neutral.
This list is a work in progress and is based off a list supplied by the university. We are making
our way around each bathroom to find out whether they are gender-neutral or
accessible/gender-neutral bathrooms. If you have found a gender-neutral bathroom on
campus, let us know by emailing [email protected].
We appreciate that some trans, gender non-confirming and gender diverse students might
not feel comfortable using an accessible bathroom for a variety of reasons. We welcome
