Remember Me – Christina Rossetti
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me, you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve;
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than you should remember and be sad.

Poem "The Reunion"
A reunion occurred in heaven this week
Of the sweetest and most joyful kind
As Dads spirit moved beyond this earth.
Released from his mortal life
And what a reunion it must have been,
A joy beyond our conceiving
When mum met dad in heaven again
Ending years of dignified grieving.
We are certain dad is holding mums hand
While she cherishes each moment by his
side
As they experience being together again
Catching up on the years they were denied
We are sure they are also looking over us
Hoping this happiness will lessen our pain
As we contemplate the joy they feel
Knowing they & Desi are together again
Poem " A Fallen Limb"
A limb has fallen from the family tree
I hear a voice that whispers, "Grieve not for me"
Remember the best times, the laughter, the songs
The good I lived while I was strong
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you
Keep on smiling, the sun will shine through
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest
Remembering all ...how I was truly blessed
Continue traditions, no matter how small
Go on with your lives, don't stare at the wall
I miss you all dearly so keep up your chin
Until that fine day we're together again.
