DELEGATED AUTHORITY
The following policy section identifies District polices that are subject to changes by the
General Manager of Chelan County Public Utility District. Per resolution 07-13163,
dated September 10, 2007, the Board of Commissioners has authorized the General
Manager to establish and administer the Electric, Water, Wastewater and Network Line
Extension Fees and Charges.
Utilizing sound and reasonable business practices, all Utility Line Extension, Facilities
Conversion policies and Utility Service Regulations fees are designed to provide a fair
and consistent method for providing Utility Services while adequately recovering costs.
As new methods are developed and costs change the District will adjust fees. Normal
practice will be to analyze and project any cost adjustments during the District's annual
budget cycle, however changes may be made on an as needed basis. In addition, this
section identifies other one-time service fees that the General Manager may adjust as
costs and application methods change.
Any proposed changes will be communicated to the Board of Commissioners during
open session. In addition changes that may impact identified groups or stakeholders will
be communicated at the earliest possible opportunity.
