SORTING RULES FOR MIXED PLASTICS
Which mixed plastics are welcome at the container park?
MIXED
PLASTICS
are placed in
the pink bag
Mixed residual plastics are everywhere. Fruit and vegetable containers,
yoghurt pots, butter containers and so much more.
Using these simple sorting rules, you can sort them into the pink bag
and take them to the recycling centre. We will then recycle them into
valuable raw materials, which is better for the environment and reduces
CO2 emissions. Thanks for sorting!

recycling
effectiveness
Are you struggling to decide whether something is 100% plastic? Plastics must
always be stripped of non-plastic parts. This means such things as a metal
handle on a bucket, or batteries in toys.
Please find an example list of items that will definitely not be accepted. If you
have any doubts about whether something will be accepted, it should be put
out with the normal rubbish or another group.
