Steel deck
1.
Ensure that the deck is clean and free from dust, grit, rust, grease or any other dirt. The deck surface should have been ground free from weld spots and other lumps and a normal shop primer applied.
2.
If the deck is uneven, leveling of the deck is necessary to make a straight deck.
3.
Lay out the Rockwool (Marine Slab 140) with staggered joints and butted tight.
4.
The measured quantity of water is added (4,5 liter of cold clean water)

Then add the bag with Hydromagsil salt flakes (3 kg.) to the 4,5 liters of water.
6.
Water and salt flakes are whisked until the salt flakes has dissolved.
7.
The Hydromagsil powder is added to the salt water.
8.
The Hydromagsil compound is mixed.
9.
The fully mixed Hydromagsil compound is poured out directly on the insulation.
10.
The self-levelling Hydromagsil compound is applied in the thickness of min. 25 mm.
11.
Before the carpet or vinyl is installed, it is an advantage to grind the surface, to remove any irregularities. To obtain a perfect surface for vinyl we recommend leveling of the Hydromagsil
IMPORTANT
It is very import that the Hydromagsil compound is mixed correctly in a concrete mixer
