Covered Wagon By Drew  It took almost 1000 pounds of food to
make it to Oregon. The wagons were so
full of supplies the people had to walk
beside the wagon.
 Many wagons traveled on the Oregon Trail, a
train from Missouri to Oregon. It was 2,000 miles
long.
 At night when the wagon train stopped the wagons were pulled in a
circle for safety from Indian tribes and wild animals.
