N14 is on the 14th floor of the newly opened OZO Colombo on Marine Dive, and it is the bar at the highest place
in town. Doubtlessly the most striking thing about ON14 is
the panoramic view of Colombo that the visitors of ON14 can
enjoy by being inside the bar area or outside on the pool deck.
Colombo’s newest bar oozes sophistication with its modern,
sleek designs and quirky accents such as the colour changing
chandelier and glass walls all around that amply provide panoramic view of the city.

The most enticing thing other than the view and layout of
ON14 is its exciting array of cocktails and innovative concoctions. They have a team of internationally trained mixologists
that have come up with drinks with unique combinations such
as Espresso Martini which has vodka, kahlua and fresh expresso. There are the spicy and aromatic twists on traditional
cocktails such as Marine Drive that is rosehip and hibiscus tea
strengthened with vodka, cointreau with a touch of fresh lime, a
Sri Lankan twist on the Cosmopolitan. Another example is the
Tuk Tuk, which is a unique twist on a Sidecar, rich brandy balanced with orange liqueur, freshly squeezed lemon juice and a
touch of cinnamon.
In addition to these cocktails, there is a variety of other alcoholic beverages from draft beer to fine wines and whiskies.
There is a wide range of food available from salads to mains
and desserts, showcasing cuisines from all over the world from
a kitchen headed by Swiss born executive Chef, Stefan Beautler.
We tried the golden fried cheese balls, which had a fun twist to
them. Compared to the usual cheese balls you find, these had a
spicy kick. They were served with a tangy tartar sauce which balanced the spiciness of the cheese balls. We also had the platter of
toasted bread, hummus, baba ghanoush , which was a unique and
tasty take on the traditional mezze platter.
ON14 has a terrace on the 15th floor as well that can accommodate about 30 people. It would be an ideal location for those
looking to impress their guests with either a private party or an
event to host clients.
OZO Colombo is a part of the OZO hotel chain, which is
a modern, savvy chain of hotels. It stands out amongst the
standard hotels and bars in Colombo. With its amazing views,
