Sandusky County Poetry Association
2016 Poetry Contest
Contest rules are as follows:
A. One entry per category is allowed. A person may enter one poem in each of the 4 categories.
B. Poems cannot be longer than one 8.5” x 11” page. Poems may be free verse or rhyming.
C. Each entry should be typed or printed legibly. Poems that are not legible to the judges will not
be considered.
D. All entries may be submitted between November 15, 2016 until January 31, 2016. No entries
will be accepted after January 31 and any entry postmarked or time stamped after that date will
not be considered.
Since poems are being given to the Sandusky County Poetry Association for evaluation, it is
recommended that you keep a copy of your work on file.

Any participants under 18 will be judged with other participants in the same category. Please be sure to
mark the appropriate box on the form if under 18.
First place winner for each category will be published in the next Chapbook for the Sandusky County
Poetry Association.
Poems may be submitted online through the Clyde Library website(www.clydelibary.org), emailed,
mailed, or dropped off at the circulation desk. Typed poems can be emailed to
[email protected]. Please be sure to include all information from entry form in the email.
Entry form must be included with poem to be considered. Poems may also be dropped off at the
circulation desk at the Clyde Public Library or mailed to the following address:
