small communities, and towering mountains?
The 2017 Province VI ECW retreat will explore these themes through
scripture, prayer, creativity, and story-sharing. Set within the sacred
geography of western Nebraska’s big skies and vistas, we’ll reflect on
what it means to follow Jesus in the
center of America.

Holy Ground is made possible by a grant from
Province VI of the Episcopal Church and is part
of the Diocese of Nebraska’s 150th Anniversary
celebration.
The Reverend Canon Liz Easton is the Canon to the
Ordinary in the Diocese of Nebraska. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, her travels throughout Nebraska have inspired in her a real love for small places and big
landscapes. She believes that the dioceses in our province
have something unique to tell the larger Church about what
it means to follow Jesus at this particular moment in time.
Canon Easton enjoys writing, reading, and traveling. Her podcast, “Popping Collars,” explores the intersection of religion and popular culture.
