How yeast can be used to blow up a balloon

A Packet of Yeast
Small Plastic Bottle
A Teaspoon of sugar
Warm Water
A Balloon
What you will need to do:

Fill the bottle up the bottle with just over an inch of
warm water
Add the packet of yeast and swirl the bottle gently
Add the sugar and do some more swirling
Blow up the balloon slightly and then place it on
the neck of the bottle
Place the bottle in a warm room and leave for around
25 - 30 minutes
Then watch the yeast perform its magic!
As the yeast eats the sugar, it releases a gas called carbon
dioxide. The gas fills the bottle and then fills the balloon as
more gas is created.
