HOW TO ACCESS THIS SERVICE If you . are interested in attending Unicorn Road Resource Centre, then you will need to be referred by a Social Worker, C.P.N, or other mental health professional. Once referred you will be allocated a keyworker. . WHAT IS A KEYWORKER? A Keyworker is a member of staff who is allocated to work with individuals to complete an assessment of your need, draw-up a support plan and organise regular reviews. A Keyworker will offer you one to one support, as appropriate to your needs. We welcome people from all communities and backgrounds regardless of race, culture, faith, disability or sexual orientation. To make Unicorn Road Resource Centre a pleasant and safe environment for all, there are ground rules about behaviour and use of language when using the centre. We always welcome your comments or ideas about the centre, you can also make formal comments through the official procedure. Parthenon Drive is a Mental Health Resource Centre run by Liverpool Social Services for people living within the Liverpool City area. We are committed to the principles of the Inter-Agency Charter for Mental Health Services in Liverpool and strive towards improving our performance against the standards laid out in the Charter. Individual service users can access: One to one support from a keyworker A structured programme of activities Involvement in running the tuck shop Committee / General meetings Involvement in fund raising. Support to access Voluntary, employment opportunities in the local community We also offer: A venue for meeting, with refreshments if required. A two course main meal Involvement of service users in the planning, monitoring and running of the service and its activities OUR AIM To support people to in there recovery of mental wellbeing Achieve maximum independence. Improve their mental health and well being. Take control of factors which are affecting their lives Access information and make choices. Take an active part in community life. Access opportunities for work, training, learning and social and leisure activities Improve skills and knowledge, confidence, motivation. In regard to activities, it is the policy of the Parthenon Drive Resource Centre to respond to the wishes expressed by service users. Activities on offer therefore, will vary from time to time to accommodate such demands.
