— The decision to allow phone companies to raise the rates for Basic Phone Service in
2009 and 2010 by 60% and whatever they want in 2011!
— The unfair, one-sided “Service Agreement” mailed to AT&T customers in California,
which diminishes consumer rights.
— The Peevey Giveaway! President Michael Peevey has proposed a rate increase that
would give Southern California Edison money the utility admits it doesn’t even need!
— Big Business Discounts! Tell the CPUC to make big corporations pay their fair share
of CARE Low Income Assistance Programs!
— PG&E’s demands for enormous late payment deposits from its customers who have
had a hard time paying their monthly bills due to the economic crisis.
