As Egypt witnessed an exceptionally delicate political and economic situation, which
has impacted not only the national economy but all sectors within the economy,

egabi launches Testing Services Unit
New Testing Team has been structured of a
qualified ISTQB certified staff (International Software
Testing Qualification Board). The team consists of 6
members who are in charge of testing and
documentation of software developed by egabi.
As a start the testing team has successfully
completed the implementation of Testing Process
Improvement Guide (TPIG) within an agreement
with ITIDA-SECC, which includes the latest
worldwide approach and international standards of
software testing, it is Compliant with Testing Maturity
Model Integration (TMMI Level 2). Representing SW
Quality Control Model, Amlak Project phase 1 was
selected as a pilot project to implement these
standards; egabi achieved 88% in TPIG assessment
which was conducted on December 2010.
egabi CSR Activity
As a part of egabi’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
activities, egabi organized a blood donation campaign at its premises.
The campaign was organized in collaboration with Egyptian Red
Crescent, in cases where blood donations are needed for emergency
surgeries, egabi supported this activity by encouraging employees to
donate blood at business places during their working time, more than
60 employees took part in this activity.
egabi will continue to expand its Corporate Social Responsibility
initiative while growing and intend to make further contributions to
make the community and society a better place to live.
Access Bank of Nigeria

Flexfinance product IFRS (international Financial
Reporting Standard) at Access Bank of Nigeria.
Access Bank of Nigeria is the first financial institution
in Nigeria to successfully adopt the international
Reporting Standards since the Nigerian Accounting
Standards Board (NASB) issued an implementation
roadmap for Nigeria’s adoption of IFRS, which set
January 2012 a deadline for compliance for publicly
quoted banks in Nigeria.
egabi joined hands with Access bank to meet their
challenge, the bank was able to fully convert its
system to IFRS on the 4th of January 2011 well ahead
of January 2012 compliance date set by the government and was demonstrated of its pioneering role in
the Nigerian financial services sector.

Heba Helmy joined egabi as of January 2011 as Projects Development Manager, MS.
Heba possess almost twenty years of experience in the IT Consulting Services Industry
Prior to joining egabi MS. Heba worked for five years at IBM, as well as possessing ten years
experience with Oracle Consulting Operations in Egypt and Africa.
As egabi’s Projects Development Manager, MS. Heba is leveraging her experience in the
field to lead a strong PMO team capable of supporting the company’s engagement in
large projects and commitment to high quality deliverables to its customers.
In addition, Ms. Heba has intensive industry experience in the Financial Services and
Telecommunications Industries.
