H2T Pets Report
Well we are already well and truly into the New Year with February upon us already. We
hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that your New Year is already going
well. There is not too much to report on that has been happening in or around the shop
over the last month, except that we would all like to wish one of our staff members Callie
McNamara all the best with her studies that she is starting soon at TAFE. We are lucky
enough not to be losing Callie completely, but she will only be with us for a few days a
week now.

Red Sea Marine Products
Head To Tail Pets are stockists of the Red Sea Range. If you already have a Marine Tank or

Staff Profile
Mary North
Mary came to work for us in April 2011 & is mainly our animal carer, so makes sure our
animals are clean, fed, watered and are always happy and healthy but is also a great allrounder who we can rely on to help out wherever needed. Mary owns a hand raised
Weiro called Chino, a Maltese x Shihtzu x Silky Terrier called Oscar, two rats one male
called David and one female called Cupcake, three canaries one of which is a Gloster
canary and tropical fish. Mary loves all aspects of animals and working with them, and is
looking to becoming a dog groomer hopefully in the near future.

Danio fish are a great little active fish that can go in tropical and cold freshwater aquariums. They
are a peaceful fish and go well with other peaceful varieties. As they are very active, you will
notice them chasing each other around in the tank but it is in play not harmful.
Danios like to hang out in the middle to the top of aquariums and for the general varieties of
Danios they grow to approx. 6cm, but your giant varieties can reach 8cm. They have a life
expectancy of approx. 5 years if kept happy and healthy in that time.

The Danio is the perfect aquarium fish for a beginner. It is always on the move, adding
action and colour to the aquarium. They are hardy and undemanding with regards to both
food and water quality.
