Mr. Delgado Hosts Multiple Prestigious Wrestling Events
Mr. Jose Delgado (AHS Spanish Teacher) helps provide the best possible wrestling events
to all wrestlers in Texas.
Along with the Allen Eagle Wrestling Team winning its 6th consecutive UIL Wrestling
Championship, Jose Delgado was running the state tournament for the 2nd consecutive
year. There have been many changes in the event since Mr. Delgado has been running the
event such as, the event has gone to 100% online digital scoring and for the first time, all of
the matches on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 were live streamed on the internet, as well as, the
championship brackets have gone from paper sized to poster sized. Mr. Delgado has been
integral in fitting the event into the condensed schedule available. He has solidified his
position as the go to guy for the state tournament. He also runs the Allen Outlaw
Tournament and Regional Tournaments hosted at Allen.
