KRISTA WERDELIN
Krista Werdelin is a female Danish designer, painter born in 1970. A design graduate of FIDM (Fashion Institute of
Design and Merchandising) in Los Angeles, California, class of 1993.
Since graduating in 1993 she has worked as a designer in various companies – designing sportswear, young
fashion, women and children’s wear. From 2002 until 2010 she had her own children’s wear brand – Krista
Lynggaard.
However in between there have been spurts of painting.
Learning to take her artwork seriously has been a long process in spite of the fact that it has been a constant love,
– a source of thought and comfort to her her entire life.
Her work is very intuitive and inspired by shapes and organic forms that meet and find balance in shape, color and
combination – She starts to work and slowly but surely the patterns evolve, taking on their own lives – regardless of
the original idea or plan.
They are playful, curious and a little naive and hopefully they will challenge your imagination and fantasy.
The fact that art is so subjective and personal – the idea of beauty being in the eye of the beholder is very
humbling.

MPP YEI MYINT
MPP Yei Myint is one of the most popular artist painter in Burma. Born in 1953 at Myingyan, Myanmar, MPP Yei
Myint studied painting at Mandalay Fine Art State School until 1970, under his mentor tutora U Win Pe, main
Modern Art Movment protagonist in Burma.
Very concerned about the political situation in his country, sometimes wry, knowing that the military junta will not
change its strategy of debasement of the population nor the state of desolation in which it plunges the country day
after day, Yei Myint custody the hope that one day democracy will be in action in Burma and Aung San Suu Kyi,
daughter of the late liberator, true face of a people, will be the spokesperson.
MPP Yei Myint is now living near Bagan, Mandalay Division, he has have been exhibited since 1971. He is
married, father of 2 children.

CHIP7
Chip7 is an American artist living and working in Bangkok. A constant doodler as a child, his interests shifted
towards art in public in 1994 via the global subculture known as graffiti. The significance of his output in this craft
would later be documented in the books Freight Train Graffiti (Abrams) and Broken Windows/Graffiti NYC (Ginko).
The recently published History of American Graffiti (Harper) mentioned him as a ”future star”.
Chip7 founded the “Mayhem” collective in 1997, which would grow to feature notable artists from across the U.S.
and all the way to Japan. In 1999 he joined the legendary Los Angeles based crew C.B.S. Around that time he
began again exploring works on paper and canvas. Since that period Chip7 has continued to produce a wide array
of work in different medias....from drawing, painting, murals, tee-shirt designs and limited edition toys.
His repertoire includes abstract ''all over'' mark making that fill the entire space of the surface. Painted in intricate
detail his studio work has been compared to ''DeKooning meets DeDuffet'' by The Grid magazine. New York city
graffiti pioneer Zephyr, who created the iconic ''Wild Style'' logo, described his art as follows '”Simply put Chip is a
visionary. What that means to me is that he culls ideas from a place where true inspiration comes from That
internal core located in the center of us all, also known as the center of the universe''.
Among a countless amount of traveling over the last decade Chip7 has had many professions before doing art full
time. One was acting as a studio assistant for famed artist/designer James “Dalek” Marshall. Dalek added this

about on his former employee ''Chip7 is a brilliant artist and mind. Seeing things through a lens that few others
possess''.
In 2012 his work was exhibited in a number of group shows including ''Still Here Now'' at MOHS in Copenhagen
(Denmark), ''Blacked Out'' at Hurley's H SPACE in Costa Mesa, California (US), ''From Brooklyn to Bangkok'' at
Zakka , NYC (US) and ''Heart of Bangkok'' at Dean and Deluca, Mahanakhon, Bangkok (Thailand). He was a
featured artist and judge at ''Isuzu's Wallords 2012'' at Siam Center. As well as having his work painted on a
fashion show collaboration at ''Isuzu's Color Your Cool World'' event at Central World, Bangkok (Thailand).
At both events he painted one new truck each ,which Isuzu took on tour around Thailand via auto shows. Chip7
also was commissioned by Rock Around Asia to produce a series of paintings for the lobby of Aloft hotel in
Bangkok. As well as painting a mural at the home of Way Thaitanium. He has been featured in publications
including Juxtapoz, Beautifal Decay, 2 Magazine, Bangkok Post, The Nation, Asia Life and BK Magazine. To open
2013 Chip7 has made 2 paintings of Star Wars villain Darth Vader for Rock Around Asia Art Gallery located in the
lobby of Novotel Hotel at Suvarnabhumi Airport, as well as giving an artist lecture/workshop to 3rd year architecture
students at Chulalongkorn University. His iconography aims to remove boundaries that divide art from everyday
life. Exploring both the outside modern world and the personal planets of inner space.

VICHIT NONGNUAL
Vichit Nuongnual (Chit) is a ceramicist and painter, he lives and
works in Bangkok, Thailand. His sense of design is reflected in his

SOMPONG CHANTOUM
Sompong was born on July 1964 in Sukotai province, north of Thailand. When
he was 18, he started to study painting with some professional artists in
Bangkok, Thailand. In that meantime, he also worked at his relatives shop for
living. With his passion and talent, he practiced, developed, and learned more
about painting from the artists and masters to improve his art works. He started
art career as an artist who paint the movie posters and advertisement signs,
after that he worked in one art studio at MBK mall for 10 years, before starting
his own art studio in year 2006.
His professional art works are portrait paintings and reproduction artworks of
the world famous artists. His outstanding style and talented is using perfect
harmony of colors in the paintings. The people in his paintings always have
hidden softly smile and good energy in his paintings, which are always, make
people who see his art works can touch the happiness and smile back to his
painting without notice. Sompong continue improves and develops his art works
to be in the international level, he usually with his respects studies the art works
of other professional both Thai and foreign artists.
