Adding Users, Resetting Passwords and
Removing Users

Managing Users
User Management is a self-service tool on the Kroll Factual Data Verify Platform which
allows Account Administrators to add users, reset user passwords, and remove
users from their personal computers
1. From your Favorites list, choose your Verify Platform certificate or go to
http://www.krollfactualdata.com/ and enter your username and password at the
top right of the screen.
2. From the Verify Platform home page, click On [Account >>] in the top right corner
of the screen

3. You will be taken to the User Management section:
Adding a New User:
1. Click on the [Add User >>] button

2. Under Add User fill in the required fields for the new user:
 First Name
 Last Name
 Email (Confirm Email)
 Phone
 Username
 Fax (optional)
3. Set their Access level and choose the Client code under which they will be
ordering services (if applicable)

4. Check off the desired options under Service Setup and Block User from
Services:
5. Once you have entered the user’s information and chosen the appropriate setup
options, click on the [Submit >> ] button
6. You will be taken back to the User Management list and will see the new user
listed

Resetting a User’s Password:
1. Click on the user’s name from the User Management list

2. Click on the [Reset Password >>] button
3. The following window will pop up on your screen and the user will receive an
email containing a temporary password and instructions on how to log in
4. Click [Close window] and you will be taken back to the user’s page

Removing a User:
1. Click on the user’s name from the User Management list
2. Click on the [Delete user >>] button

3. The following window will pop up on your screen; Click on the [Submit >>] button
to delete the selected user
4. You will be taken back to the user list and the deleted user is no longer in the
users list
