A Festive Christmas and New Year`s Eve at Le Bristol Paris

A Festive Christmas and New Year's Eve at Le Bristol Paris
The entrance at 112 Faubourg Saint-Honoré will soon be decked in glitter. As the holiday
season approaches, Le Bristol’s impeccable facade will veil itself in stars to invite you to
celebrate the year's last days with us and experience Le Bristol’s exquisite refinement.
The Palace’s teams will unite to compose the most beautiful Christmas symphony:
enchanting settings, unique menus designed by three-star chef Eric Frechon for our New
Years Eve celebration, a Yule log pastry revisited by dessert magician Laurent Jeannin, and
the latest cocktails designed by alchemist Maxime Hoerth to brighten up the winter
evenings.
The captivating decor is in place.
Now let the magic of Christmas at Le Bristol Paris begin...
Eric Frechon’s gourmet feast
Chef Eric Frechon, Le Bristol Paris’s guardian of flavors since 1998, has composed a special
gourmet symphony for the holiday season.
A symphony in two movements, Christmas and the New Year, for our three-star Epicure
restaurant, one-Michelin-star 114 Faubourg brasserie, and the Jardin Français.
In addition to his classic free-range capon, blue lobster and exotic fruits, the Chef will
showcase his signature ingredients in new pairings and creations.
As always, children are honored guests at Le Bristol. They too will have their own festive
menu at Brasserie 114 Faubourg, starting with a waffle of smoked-salmon in lemon Chantilly
cream followed by chocolate fireworks.
Holiday menu prices at Le Bristol Paris:

Laurent Jeannin’s bûche de Noël (Yule Log)
Le Bristol head pastry chef Laurent Jeannin always concocts a tasty Yule log full of surprises.
His 2015 bûche de Noël evokes a spaceship that takes us on an intense gourmet journey close
to the stars.
A fireworks of creamy, velvety, and crunchy sensations.
The praline and chocolate feuilletine’s caramelized-pecan biscuit and a crispy strudel-style
cake are covered with star-studded cocoa. In the pastry's center, a caramelized crème brûlée
perfumed with authentic Madagascar vanilla and passion fruit emulsion transports everyone
who tastes it.
Available at Le Jardin Français: 18€ the slice.
Head barman Maxime Hoerth introduces his Yuletide concoction
Two new creations await cocktail lovers at Le Bar du Bristol to warm the long December
nights: the Yule Log Mule, inspired by Pastry Chef Laurent Jeannin’s Yule log and the tenth
interpretation of the palace's signature cocktail, the Gingerbread Old Fashioned.
Yule Log Mule, the Yuletide cocktail:
For the Christmas Season, head barman Maxime
Hoerth, Best Craftsman of France in the Barman
category, designed a cocktail inspired by head pastry
chef Laurent Jeannin’s 2015 Yule log. The result is a
magical potion that plays with the idea of caramelized
pecans in the form of a homemade syrup blended with
delicately infused bourbon-vanilla vodka. A splash of
passion fruit and lemon brighten up the drink and
homemade ginger soda provides a tonic effervescence.
This explosive mix perfectly pairs with Laurent
Jeannin’s aerodynamic Yule log.
The name of this cocktail is the Yule Log Mule.
Mule is the name of the cup that will hold this
delicious Christmas cocktail.
Yule Log is the English name for a Christmas bûche.
Gingerbread Old Fashioned, version 10:
Is Maxime Hoerth’s latest version of our classic Old
Fashioned whisky cocktail. This time, Hoerth drew his
inspiration from those famous little Gingerbread men
traditionally made for the Christmas holidays.
His Gingerbread Old Fashioned is made with Rittenhouse
Rye Whisky, a shot of a 12-year-old Appleton Rum, a
hint of Suze for a bitter edge, and a homemade
gingerbread syrup for sheer delight.
A Christmas tree layer cake
Once again this year, the Christmas tree adorning Paris’s largest
palace hotel garden will truly rule the forest. A forest of kings and
queens, that is, as Le Bristol’s gardeners had the ingenious idea of
embellishing our French garden with no less than 40 Nordmann fir
trees from Denmark’s most beautiful forests!
Forty beautiful fir trees stacked in the manner of a champagne-glass
pyramid will compose a single, giant 7-meter- (23-foot) high fir tree.
A true "fir-tree layer cake" sumptuously decorated with thousands
of twinkling lights and precious hand-blown glass ornaments and
hundreds of handmade knots in red and gold for a chic touch.
As a delightful foretaste, a more modest but equally elegant
Christmas tree will welcome visitors at the entrance hall.
