Thank you for considering Broughton on the Ridge for your special day. Mountain Ridge Wines is located 8km east of historical Berry perched up on a ridge of Coolangatta Mountain, with majestic views to Coolangatta, Berry, Saddleback and Cambewarra Mountains. Set on a 75 acre working farm which produces wine, beef, macadamia nuts, limes and free range eggs. The Broughton on the Ridge Restaurant building is a new, purpose built venue designed to cater for any event. Catering for up to 100 people sit down or up to 200 cocktail, with a huge veranda that flows out on to the manicured lawns, making for the perfect spot for your guests to enjoy canapés while sipping champagne and watching the sun go down. A Fully licensed Bar with our own handcrafted beers and cider on tap, full selection of Mountain Ridge Wines, liqueurs, spirits and commercial beers available upon request. Here at Broughton on the Ridge we pride ourselves on offering a premium venue and location for an affordable price. Payment can be made by direct deposit to BSB 032 691 account number 43 9181 Venue Hire Venue hire is $110 per hour. This entitles you to exclusive hire of the venue. Venue hire hours strictly until 11pm. Special Conditions Minimum spend of $5000 Payment Full payment for your package is required 2 weeks prior to the event. Decorations We are happy for you to add your own personal touch to the venue for your special day and love to help you do this. We do not permit tacks nails two way tape or Blu­Tac. Decorations, flowers etc can be set up from 3pm on the day before or alternately can be left with us to do under your instruction. At the end of the event your decorations / belongings will be packed by us and must be picked up within three days after the event. Use of Candles We do allow candles but ask that you provide drip or overflow plate to prevent spillage. A cleaning fee will apply for any wax leakage. Sparklers are not allowed within the venue​
. Alcohol policy Due to our licence all alcohol service will cease at 11pm, no exceptions. Broughton on the Ridge is strictly a ​
no BYO​
premises and failure to comply will result in offenders being asked to leave. Responsible service of alcohol It is a legal requirement that we do not sell alcohol to persons under the age 18 or those unable to prove their age or any guest who is believed to be intoxicated. No smoking policy Strictly no smoking is allowed within Broughton on the Ridge. Smokers are welcome to smoke outside using the ashtrays provided. Cleaning and damage An additional cleaning/repair cost may be charged to the client if the grounds or venue are left excessively untidy or damaged, this includes any damage to our trees or Gardens. We are happy for your guests to use biodegradable confetti outside but confetti is not allowed on the verandas or inside the function room. Agreement / Contract
