A terrific campaigner: During Labor Day Weekend, Deborah campaigned in NINE counties which
rarely see a statewide candidate: Washington, Tyrrell, Camden, Bertie, Gates,
Northampton, Yadkin, Stokes, and Davie.
DEBORAH ROSS UPLIFTS SENIOR CITIZEN ISSUES!
On Sunday, August 28th, Deborah gave an inspirational talk at Signature HealthCare
of Chapel Hill. She talked with senior women and men and their families about her positions on
Social Security and Medicare. They learned that Deborah cares deeply about their issues!
Earlier on August 28th, Deborah attended church in Chapel Hill.
Then she joined several of her supporters for lunch at the famous Sutton’s Drug Store
on Franklin Street. This pharmacy is familiar to hundreds of thousands of
UNC students and alumni. It is part of the UNC tradition.
LEE COUNTY DEMOCRATS!
This picture shows some of the 75-plus people who turned out for the Lee County Democratic
Party’s Voter Registration Training class in Sanford. These folks received training
on registration rules and procedures – and shared a lot of motivating ideas with each other.
Mark Coggins reports: “This group included a couple of former Republicans who have changed to
Democrats because of what Trump has been saying about women and veterans!”
Mark Coggins is one of the Lee County Democrats who helped organize this Registration class.
He has also posted a lot of good information about how to ensure that college students vote
on the Facebook pages of many County Democratic Parties across the state!
Lucas Rosser likes to campaign with his great grandfather, Mark Coggins.
Lee County’s outstanding County Party Chair John Kirkland is the gentleman wearing the hat

Our remarkable Democratic Commissioner of Insurance, Wayne Goodwin, is going to be

Instead of playing “Where’s Waldo?” North Carolina citizens are invited to play “Where’s Wayne?”
by posting on Facebook when you see Wayne’s minivan driving through your county.
If you can snap a picture of the minivan and post it, that will draw
even more attention to Wayne’s campaign.
The slogan on the minivan is true: Wayne is “fighting for you every day!”
