A very warm welcome back to school for 2017. I hope you enjoyed the break and spent precious time making memorable moments for your family. There are a few new faces to be seen around the school and these include both students and teachers. Please take the time to introduce yourself to your child's teacher or have your child introduce you. A couple of things to note: *Arrival at school - we prefer children to arrive between 8:30 and 8:45am. Where arrival is earlier children, and their parents, must wait quietly under the hall veranda until the 8:30 bell goes. This allows teachers to finalise their planning for the day and to be ready to meet and greet you and the children. *School uniform. Blue polos, shorts, skirts and skorts are the accepted items of school uniform. Hats must be worn while children are outside and as we are a SunSmart school. The acceptable hats are wide brim and bucket hats. POWHIRI On Friday 3rd February there will be a Powhiri for all new students, staff and families in the school hall from 10.10am – all welcome! NEW TIME FOR WHOLE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY School assembly will be every second Friday at 10am (even weeks).
